Removal
NOTE
Tag all electrical connections and electrical leads prior to
removal to aid in installation.
Where applicable, remove adhesive to expose desig-
nated electrical terminals.
1. Remove nut (1), lockwasher (2) and wiring harness 3W705 (3) from thermostatic switch (4). Discard lockwasher.
2. Remove grommet (5) from air duct bracket (6). Pull wiring harness 3W705 (3) through air duct bracket (6) and
grommet (5). Discard grommet.
3. Disconnect wiring harness 3W705 (3) from wiring harness 3W704 lead 493 (7).
4. Inspect all parts for damage and replace as required.
