Clean area around exterior and interior of fire extinguisher pull handle cover (1) and areas requiring caulking com-pound with dry--cleaning solvent.2. Apply sealer tape (12367083) all around areas (2) as indicated.3. Operate main winch (TM 9--2350--292--10). Pull main winch cable (3) in until a light pressure is applied betweenthe clevis and the opening. Seal the exposed area around the cable, ballistic cover and extension seams cablewith caulking compound (11672186).4. Remove left (driver’s side) armor plate (4) (WP 0511 00). Stow armor plate and screws. Discard lockwashers.5. Install five screws (5) in left armor plate (4) holes. Seal screw (5) heads with caulking compound (11672186).6. Seal opening and around hull front cover (6) and all around cover plate (7) and (slide rail) guides and screwheadswith caulking compound (11672186). Be certain all gaps are sealed, particularly the corners and slide rails.7.
