NOTE
There are two air purifier control unit enclosure assem-
blies. Both air purifier control unit enclosure assemblies
are repaired in the same manner except as noted.
The Driver’s air purifier control unit enclosure assembly
does not have a removable bracket and is secured to ve-
hicle with four screws and four lockwashers. This proce-
dure applies to mechanic’s side unit.
Removal
1. Disconnect wiring harness 4W307 connector P1 (1) from J2 on air purifier control unit enclosure assembly (2).
2. Disconnect wiring harness 4W305 connector P2 wire 422 (3) from J1 on air purifier control unit enclosure assem-
bly (2).
3. Remove four nuts (4), eight lockwashers (5), four screws (6) and air purifier control unit enclosure assembly (2)
from bracket (7). Discard lockwashers.
4. Remove two nuts (8), four lockwashers (9), two screws (10) and bracket (7). Discard lockwashers.
