NOTE
There are three M3 air heaters located in the crew
compartment. All M3 air heaters are repaired in the same
manner. This task repairs driver’s side M3 air heater.
Removal
1. Disconnect wiring harness 4W306 connector P3 (1) from wire 419 at M3 air heater (2).
2. Remove two hose clamps (3) and disconnect two hoses (4) from two adapters (5) on M3 air heater (2). Discard
hose clamps.
3. Remove four screws (6), four lockwashers (7) and M3 air heater (2) from vehicle. Discard lockwashers.
