HOIST BOOM REST AND LATCH ASSEMBLY REPAIR -- CONTINUED

Disassembly
1. Remove cotter pin (6), flat washer (7), headed pin (8), spring (9) and latch (10) from boom rest (5). Discard cotter
pin.
2. Remove two cotter pins (11), headless pin (12), spring (13) and latch (14) from boom rest (5). Discard cotter pins.
NOTE
Note the quantity and position of shim(s) being removed
to ensure shim(s) are installed in the same manner.
3. Remove four screws (15), plate (16) and shim(s) (17) from boom rest (5).
4. Remove screw (18) and nut (19) from boom rest (5).
5. Inspect parts for damage and replace as required.
