TM 9--2350--292--20--2 0428 00--1 HOIST WINCH CABLE ACCESS DOOR AND SEAL REPLACEMENT 0428 00 THIS WORK PACKAGE COVERS: Removal, Installation INITIAL SETUP: Tools and Special Tools General mechanic’s tool kit (item 1, WP 0717 00) Materials/Parts Rubber based adhesive (item 15, WP 0716 00) Dry--cleaning solvent (item 1, WP 0716 00) Lockwashers (2) (item 52, WP 0718 00) Cotter pin (item 67, WP 0718 00) Spring pins (2) (item 108, WP 0718 00) Nonmetallic seal (item 129, WP 0718 00) Removal 1. Remove two nuts (1), two lockwashers (2) and two flat washers (3) securing access door (4) to hull. Discard lock- washers. 2. Remove cotter pin (5), flat washer (6), pin (7) and access door (4) from hull. Discard cotter pin. 3. Remove two spring pins (8) and two bolts (9) from hull. Discard spring pins. 4. Remove nonmetallic seal (10) from hull. Discard nonmetallic seal. 5. Inspect parts for damage and replace as required. Figure 206 FORWARD 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10
