TM 9--2350--292--20--2 0513 00--1 AUXILIARY WINCH ASSEMBLY, PLATE AND COVER REPLACEMENT 0513 00 THIS WORK PACKAGE COVERS: Removal, Installation INITIAL SETUP: Tools and Special Tools General mechanic’s tool kit (item 1, WP 0717 00) Torque wrench (item 9, WP 0717 00) Socket wrench socket (item 29, WP 0717 00) Endless sling (item 23, WP 0717 00) Suitable lifting device (650 lbs (295.1 kg) min cap) Material/Parts Lockwashers (4) (item 78, WP 0718 00) Lockwashers (8) (item 35, WP 0718 00) Lockwashers (4) (item 2, WP 0718 00) Sealing compound (item 16, WP 0716 00) Dry--cleaning solvent (item 1, WP 0716 00) Equipment Conditions Flanges removed from hydraulic motor (WP 0516 00) Personnel Required Two Removal 1. Remove four screws (1), four lockwashers (2), four flat washers (3) and cover (4). Discard lockwashers. 2. Attach endless sling to auxiliary winch (5) and to suitable lifting device. 3. Take up slack on suitable lifting device to support the weight of auxiliary winch (5). WARNING 4. Remove four screws (6), four lockwashers (7) and auxiliary winch (5) from vehicle. Discard lockwashers. 5. Remove eight screws (8), eight lockwashers (9) and plate (10) from auxiliary winch (5). Discard lockwashers. 6. Inspect parts for damage and replace as required.
