Installation
WARNING
1. Clean eight screws (8) and four screws (6) with dry--cleaning solvent.
2. Apply sealing compound to eight screws (8) and four screws (6).
3. Install plate (10) on auxiliary winch (5) with eight screws (8) and eight new lockwashers (9). Torque eight screws
(8) to 240--256 lb--ft (325--347 NSm).
4. Attach endless sling to auxiliary winch (5) and suitable lifting device.
WARNING
5. Lift auxiliary winch (5) to position on vehicle.
6. Secure auxiliary winch (5) and plate (10) to vehicle with four screws (6) and four new lockwashers (7). Torque
four screws (6) to 420--448 lb--ft. (566--607 NSm).
7. Install cover (4) with four screws (1), four new lockwashers (2) and four flat washers (3).
