TM 9--2350--292--20--2 0516 00--1 AUXILIARY WINCH HYDRAULIC MOTOR AND FLANGE REPLACEMENT 0516 00 THIS WORK PACKAGE COVERS: Removal, Installation INITIAL SETUP: Tools and Special Tools General mechanic’s tool kit (item 1, WP 0717 00) Materials/Parts Preformed packings (2) (item 76, WP 0718 00) Preformed packing (item 75, WP 0718 00) Lockwashers (8) (item 2, WP 0718 00) Lockwashers (4) (item 68, WP 0718 00) Equipment Conditions Auxiliary winch wire rope assembly removed (WP 0515 00) Auxiliary winch gear oil drained (WP 0187 00) Auxiliary winch hoses disconnected and fittings removed from hydraulic motor (WP 0514 00) Removal CAUTION Plug all hydraulic ports to prevent contamination. Failure to comply may result in damage to hydraulic system. 1. Remove eight screws (1) and eight lockwashers (2) from hydraulic motor assembly (3). Discard lockwashers. 2. Remove two flanges (4) and two preformed packings (5) from hydraulic motor assembly (3). Discard preformed packings. 3. Remove four screws (6) and four lockwashers (7) from hydraulic motor assembly (3) and auxiliary winch assem- bly (8). Discard lockwashers. 4. Remove hydraulic motor assembly (3) and preformed packing (9) from auxiliary winch assembly (8). Discard pre- formed packing. 5. Inspect parts for damage and replace as required.
