WARNING
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,
bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metal
surface a direct short may result in instant
heating of tools, damage to equipment, and
injury or death to personnel.
H Reconnect wire 450 to BILGE PUMP switch side of
circuit breaker. Disconnect wire 450 from circuit
breaker side of BILGE PUMP switch. Place red
lead of multimeter in wire 450 and black lead to
ground. Turn MASTER switch on and check for
voltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. If voltage is
present, go to step I. If voltage is not present,
repair/replace wire 450 from circuit breaker to
bilge pump switch (see paragraph 6-84).
I Reconnect wire 450 to circuit breaker side of BILGE
PUMP switch. Disconnect wire 450B from panel
connector side of BILGE PUMP switch. Place red
lead of multimeter on BILGE PUMP switchs
terminal and black lead to ground. Turn MASTER
and BILGE PUMP switches ON and check for
voltage. Turn MASTER and BILGE PUMP switches
OFF. If voltage is present, repair/replace wire
450B of bilge pump main power harness (see
paragraph 6-84). If voltage is not present, replace
BILGE PUMP switch (see paragraph 6-9).
