CHAPTER 2: VEHICLE MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONSTM 9-2350-256-202-19 ELECTRICAL TROUBLESHOOTING-ContinuedBILGE PUMP SYSTEM AND ELECTRICAL ACCESSORIES PANEL POWEROUTLET-ContinuedWARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metalsurface a direct short may result in instantheating of tools, damage to equipment, andinjury or death to personnel.H Reconnect wire 450 to BILGE PUMP switch side ofcircuit breaker. Disconnect wire 450 from circuitbreaker side of BILGE PUMP switch. Place redlead of multimeter in wire 450 and black lead toground. Turn MASTER switch on and check forvoltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. If voltage ispresent, go to step I. If voltage is not present,repair/replace wire 450 from circuit breaker tobilge pump switch (see paragraph 6-84).I Reconnect wire 450 to circuit breaker side of BILGEPUMP switch. Disconnect wire 450B from panelconnector side of BILGE PUMP switch. Place redlead of multimeter on BILGE PUMP switchsterminal and black lead to ground. Turn MASTERand BILGE PUMP switches ON and check forvoltage. Turn MASTER and BILGE PUMP switchesOFF. If voltage is present, repair/replace wire450B of bilge pump main power harness (seeparagraph 6-84). If voltage is not present, replaceBILGE PUMP switch (see paragraph 6-9).2-228
