SECTION V: TROUBLESHOOTINGTM 9-2350-256-20WARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags ,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metalsurface a direct short may result in instantheating of tools, damage to equipment, andinjury or death to personnel.A Disconnect wire 400 of switch panel to head lampsand bulkhead wiring harness from connector atHEATER CONTROL box. Place red lead ofmultimeter in wire 400 and black lead to ground.Turn MASTER switch on and check for voltage.Turn MASTER switch OFF. If voltage is present, goto step B. If voltage is not present, go to step L.B Reconnect wire 400 of switch panel to head lampsand bulkhead wiring harness to HEATERCONTROL box connector. Remove two screws (1)and release personnel heater control box front panel(2) from personnel heater control box (3). Disconnectheater control box to heater wiring harness fromHEATER CONTROL box. Place red lead ofmultimeter on pin D of wire 405 and black lead toground. Turn MASTER switch on, HEATERCONTROL switch to START, and check forvoltage. Turn MASTER and HEATER CONTROLswitches OFF. If voltage is present, go to step C. Ifvoltage is not present, replace HEATER CONTROLbox (see paragraph 6-12).2-233
