SECTION V: TROUBLESHOOTINGTM 9-2350-256-20WARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags ,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metalsurface a direct short may result in instantheating of tools, damage to equipment, andinjury or death to personnel.L Reconnect wire 400 of switch panel to head lampsand bulkhead wiring harness to connector atHEATER CONTROL box. Disconnect bulkhead tomaster relay and left and right taillights wiringharness from bulkhead disconnect. Place red leadof multimeter on pin F of wire 400 and black lead toground. Turn MASTER switch on and check forvoltage. Place red lead of multimeter on pin G ofwire 400 and black lead to ground. Check forvoltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. If voltage isnot present at either location, repair/replace wire400 of bulkhead to MASTER relay and left andright taillights wiring harness from bulkhead tobattery (see paragraph 6-71). If voltage is notpresent in either location, go to step M.M Reconnect bulkhead to master relay and left andright taillights wiring harness to bulkheaddisconnect. Disconnect wire 400 from bulkhead sideof 30 A circuit breaker. Place red lead ofmultimeter on terminal of circuit breaker and blacklead to ground. Turn MASTER switch on and checkfor voltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. If voltageis present, repair/replace wire 400 of bulkhead tomaster relay and left and right taillight wiringharness. (see paragraph 6-71). If voltage is notpresent, go to step N.N Reconnect wire 400 to bulkhead side of 30 A circuitbreaker. Disconnect wire 400 from battery side of 30A circuit breaker. Place red lead of multimeter inwire 400 and black lead to ground. Turn MASTERswitch on and check for voltage. Turn MASTERswitch OFF. If voltage is present, replace 30 Acircuit breaker. If voltage is not present,repair/replace wire 400 of battery to circuit breakerlead assembly (see paragraph 6-38).2-237
