SECTION V: TROUBLESHOOTINGTM 9-2350-256-20WARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metalsurface a direct short may result in instantheating of tools, damage to equipment, andinjury or death to personnel.F Reconnect heater control box to heater wiringharness to HEATER CONTROL box. DisconnectHEATER CONTROL box to heater wiring harnessfrom the personnel heater. Place red lead ofmultimeter in socket E of wire 407 and black lead toground. Turn MASTER switch on, HEATERCONTROL switch to START, and check forvoltage. Turn MASTER and HEATER CONTROLswitches OFF. If voltage is present, go to step G. Ifvoltage is not present, repair/replace wire 407 ofheater control box to heater wiring harness (seeparagraph 6-87).G Place red lead of multimeter in socket B of wire 401and black lead to ground. Turn MASTER switch on,HEATER CONTROL switch to START, and checkfor voltage. Turn MASTER and HEATERCONTROL switches OFF. If voltage is present, goto step H. If voltage is not present, repair/replacewire 401 of heater control box to heater wiringharness (see paragraph 6-87).H Place red lead of multimeter in socket C of wire 403and black lead to ground. Turn MASTER switch on,and HEATER CONTROL switch to START, andcheck for voltage. Turn MASTER and HEATERCONTROL switches OFF. If voltage is present, goto step I.
