SECTION V: TROUBLESHOOTINGTM 9-2350-256-20WARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metalsurface a direct short may result in instantheating of tools, damage to equipment, andinjury or death to personnel.P Reconnect bilge pump circuit breaker to switchpanel lead assembly to bilge pump relay.Disconnect wire 451B from bilge pump. Place redlead of multimeter in wire 451B and black lead toground. Turn MASTER and BILGE PUMP switchesON and check for voltage. Turn MASTER andBILGE PUMP switches OFF. If voltage is present,replace bilge pump assembly (see paragraph I-12).If voltage is not present, repair/replace wire 451Bof bilge pump circuit breaker to switch panel leadassembly (see paragraph 6-85).Q Remove four screws (1) and four lockwashers (2) andrelease electrical accessories panel (3). Disconnectwire 37 from electrical accessories panel poweroutlet. Place red lead of multimeter on wire 37 andblack lead to ground. Turn MASTER and BILGEPUMP switches ON and check for voltage. TurnMASTER and BILGE PUMP switches OFF. Ifvoltage is present, replace electrical accessoriespanel power outlet (see paragraph 6-9). If voltageis not present, repair/replace wire 37 of bilge pumpand generator cutout switch lead assembly (seeparagraph 6-83).2-231
