SECTlON V: TROUBLESHOOTINGTM 9-2350-256-20WARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags ,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metalsurface a direct short may result in instantheating of tools, damage to equipment, andinjury or death to personnel.F Reconnect switch panel to gage panel andmiscellaneous switches wiring harness to mainswitch panel. Place a jumper wire from switchpanel to hull to ground panel. Disconnect wire25/27 from 15 A circuit breaker. Place red lead ofmultimeter on circuit breaker terminal and blacklead to ground. Turn MASTER switch on and checkfor voltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. If voltageis present, repair/replace wire 25/27 of mainlighting and B.O. selector switch wiring harness(see paragraph 6-69). If voltage is not present, go tostep G.G Reconnect wire 25/27 to 15 A circuit breaker.Disconnect wire 10 from 15 A circuit breaker. Placered lead of multimeter on wire 10 and black lead toground. Turn MASTER switch on and check forvoltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. If voltage ispresent, replace 15 A circuit breaker (see paragraph6-10). If voltage is not present, repair/replace wire10 of main lighting and B.O. selector switch wiringharness (see paragraph 6-69).H Reconnect wire 27A to driver's VEHICLEEXHAUST SMOKE switch. Disconnect wire 27A ofdriver's vehicle exhaust smoke bracket to bulkheadconnection wiring harness at Y-connector. Place redlead of multimeter on male connector and black leadto ground. Turn MASTER switch on and check forvoltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. If voltage ispresent, repair/replace wire 27A of driver'svehicle exhaust smoke bracket to bulkheadconnection wiring harness from driver's switch to Y-connector (see paragraph 6-93). If voltage is notpresent, go to step I.2-353
