CHAPTER 2: VEHICLE MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS TM 9-2350-256-202-19 ELECTRICAL TROUBLESHOOTING-ContinuedEXHAUST SMOKE GENERATING SYSTEM-ContinuedWARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags ,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metalsurface a direct short may result in instantheating of tools, damage to equipment, andinjury or death to personnel.D Reconnect driver's vehicle exhaust smoke bracket tobulkhead connection wiring harness to driver'sswitch plate disconnect. Remove three screws (1),three lockwashers (2), ground lead (3), and flatwasher (4) and release main switch panel (5) frommounting brackets. Disconnect switch panel to gagepanel and miscellaneous switches wiring harnessfrom main switch panel. Place a jumper wire frompin N to socket N. Place red lead of multimeter insocket K of wire 27 and black lead to ground. TurnMASTER switch on and check for voltage. TurnMASTER switch OFF. If voltage is present, go tostep H. If voltage is not present, go to step E.E Place red lead of multimeter in pin N of wire 10 andblack lead to ground. Turn MASTER switch on andcheck for voltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. Ifvoltage is present, go to step F. If voltage is notpresent, go to step Y.2-352
