Hoist Winch
a. Park vehicle on a level surface
(TM 9--2350--292--10).
Always keep tension on wire rope
when paying hoist winch out.
Slack in wire rope may damage
equipment.
b. Operate hoist winch (1) and check
action of winch drum (2) and controls (3).
c. Check that rollers (4) on top of cable
chute (5) turn smoothly.

Winch does
