TM 9--2350--292--20--2 0458 00--1 COMMANDER’S SUB--BASE ASSEMBLY REPAIR 0458 00 THIS WORK PACKAGE COVERS: Disassembly, Assembly INITIAL SETUP: Tools and Special Tools General mechanic’s tool kit (item 1, WP 0717 00) Materials/Parts Lockwashers (8) (item 449, WP 0718 00) Cotter pins (2) (item 19, WP 0718 00) Equipment Conditions Commander’s seat removed (WP 0457 00) Disassembly 1. Remove four screws (1), four lockwashers (2) and mounting plate (3) with seat cushion (4) from frame assembly (5). Discard lockwashers. 2. Remove four screws (6), four lockwashers (7) and seat cushion (4) from mounting plate (3). Discard lockwashers. 3. Remove quick--release pin (8) from frame assembly (5) and support assembly (9). 4. Remove two cotter pins (10), axle (11), two flat washers (12) and support assembly (9) from frame assembly (5). Discard cotter pins. 5. Inspect parts for damage and replace as required.
