TM 9--2350--292--20--2 0495 00--2 HOIST WINCH WIRE ROPE SHIELD REPLACEMENT -- CONTINUED 0495 00 Removal--Continued 4. Remove 16 screws (9), 16 lockwashers (10) and 16 flat washers (11) securing three shields (3, 7 and 8). Discard lockwashers. 5. Separate three shields (3, 7 and 8). 6. Remove knob (12), thumbscrew (13) and two wing nuts (14) from shield (8). 7. Inspect parts for damage and replace as required. Installation 1. Install knob (12), thumbscrew (13) and two wing nuts (14) on shield (8). 2. Connect three shields (3, 7 and 8) and secure with 16 screws (9), 16 new lockwashers (10) and 16 flat washers (11).
