cable to aid in removal of foreign particles and detection
of broken wires. Simultaneously check cable for bird
caging, kinks, abrasions, and flat spots.
Inspect boomhead assembly for nicks, cracks,
scratches, and dents. Inspect for corrosion. (Refer to

cuts, tears, fraying, and broken insulation. Inspect
identification and lubrication plates for legibility and
security of attachment. Check boom head for freedom of
movement. Check boom head fluid level.
