TM 9-2350-238-34-23456Adjust gear shaft thrust plug (5) untilseated, then back off three full turns.From above cab deck, install two finaldrive retainer plates (6) and six hexagoncapscrews (7). Torque six hexagoncapscrews to 135 to 150 ft-lb (183 to203 N-m). Install new Iockwire (8) tosecure six hexagon capscrews (7).Rig hoist and sling through rigger’scupola opening. Attach sling to hydraulicdrain tee (9) and traverse brake controlshuttle valve (10) of cab traversing unit(11).Lift cab traversing unit (11) through rig-gers cupola opening and install in cab.2-225
