TM 9-2350-238 -34-2INSPECTION/REPAIR1 Inspect for broken, damaged, or missing parts.2 If level wind housing is broken, damaged, or missing, repair is by replacement of nexthigher assembly.3 Repair is by replacement of authorized parts (TM 9-2350-238-24P-2).REASSEMBLY 12345678910If removed, install three new inserts (1)to level wind housing (2).Install lubrication fitting (3) to level windhousing (2).Install two sleeve bearings (4) to levelwind housing (2).Install level wind bracket (5), three hex-agon head capscrews (6), three flatwashers (7), three new Iockwashers (8),and three nuts (9) to level wind housing(2).Install two electrical shells (10), twobushing sleeve insulators (11), and twofemale terminal assemblies (12) to eachof two level wind sensing push switches(13).Install two level wind sensing push swit-ches (13) with attached parts to levelwind bracket (5),Install sleeve bushing (14), quick releasepin (15), chain assembly (16), new Iock-washer (17), and machine screw (18) tocable guide (19).Install two needle roller bearings (20),two thrust washer bearings (21), andcable guide (19) to level wind housing(2).Install helical spring (22), sleeve spacer(23), and manual control lever (24) toshaft of cable guide (19).Using hammer and punch, install springpin (25) to secure manual control lever(24).2-25
