SECTION V: TROUBLESHOOTINGTM 9-2350-256-20WARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dogtags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry contactsa metal surface a direct short may resultin instant heating of tools, damage toequipment, and injury or death topersonnel.A Open air inlet doors (TM 9-2350-256-10). Disconnectbatteries to master relay voltage regulator and slavereceptacle wiring harness from APU regulator. Placered lead of multimeter on pin A of wire 62 and blacklead to ground. Turn MASTER and APU GEN switcheson and check for voltage. Turn MASTER and APUGEN switches OFF. If voltage is not present,troubleshoot battery circuit. If voltage is present, go tostep B.B Place red lead of multimeter in socket A of wire 62 andblack lead to ground. Turn MASTER and APU GENswitches ON, start APU, and check for voltage. TurnMASTER and APU GEN switches OFF. If voltage ispresent, go to step C. If voltage is not present, replaceAPU voltage regulator (see paragraph 6-5).C Reconnect batteries to master relay, voltage regulator,and slave receptacle wiring harness to APU regulator.Disconnect bulkhead to APU to master relay andrigger's lights wiring harness from APU regulator. Placered lead of multimeter in socket F of wire 61 and blacklead to ground. Turn MASTER and APU GEN switchesON, start APU, and check for voltage. Turn APU andMASTER and APU GEN switches OFF. If voltage ispresent, go to step D. If voltage is not present, replaceAPU voltage regulator (see paragraph 6-5).2-139
