SECTION V: TROUBLESHOOTINGTM 9-2350-256-20WARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dogtags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts ametal surface a direct short may result ininstant heating of tools, damage toequipment, and injury or death topersonnel.ALoosen six screws (1) and remove stoplight cover(2). Remove B.O. stoplight lamp (3). Place redlead of multimeter in socket and black lead toground. Turn MASTER switch on, UNLOCK andplace main lighting switch in B.O. MASTER position.Depress stoplight switch (vehicle brake) and checkfor voltage. Turn MASTER, main lighting andstoplight switches OFF. If voltage is present, replacelamp (see paragraph 6-30). If voltage is not present,go to step B.BInstall B.O. stoplight lamp (3), stoplight cover (2),and tighten six screws (1). Remove two screws (4)and two lockwashers (5) and remove hydraulicaccess cover (6). Disconnect wire 23 of bulkhead tomaster relay and left and right taillight wiring harnessfrom right taillight assembly. Place red lead ofmultimeter in wire 23 and black lead to ground. TurnMASTER switch on, UNLOCK and move mainlighting switch to B.O. MASTER position, applybrakes, and check for voltage. Turn MASTER andmain lighting switches OFF. If voltage is present,replace taillight assembly (see paragraph 6-30). Ifvoltage is not present, go to step C.2—299
