Removal--Continued
3. Remove nut (8), two lockwashers (9) and wiring harness 3W711 lead 487 (10) from preheat solenoid (4). Discard
lockwashers.
4. Remove nut (11), four lockwashers (12), diode assembly (13), wiring harness 3W711 lead 65 (14) and lead as-
sembly 3W732 (15) from preheat solenoid (4). Discard lockwashers.
5. Remove two screws (16), two lockwashers (17), two flat washers (18) and preheat solenoid (4) from APU.
6. Inspect parts for damage and replace as required.
Installation
1. Install preheat solenoid (4) on APU with two flat washers (18), two new lockwashers (17) and two screws (16).
2. Install diode assembly (13), wiring harness 3W711 lead 65 (14) and lead assembly 3W732 (15) on preheat sole-
noid (4) with four new lockwashers (12) and nut (11).
3. Install wiring harness 3W711 lead 487 (10) on preheat solenoid (4) with two new lockwashers (9) and nut (8).
