Align winch drum (1) with wedge clamping screws (2) accessible through side access hole (3) in main winchhousing (4).2. Remove tension from wire rope, disengage power take off unit and shutdown engine(TM 9--2350--292--10).3. Remove nonelectrical wire (5) from two wedge clamping screws (2). Discard nonelectrical wire.4. Remove two wedge clamping screws (2) from winch drum (1).5. Align winch drum (1) as necessary to remove wedge (6) from winch drum (1) using brass drift and hammer orslide puller.6. Manually pull wire rope (7) until wire rope (7) is even with trumpet (8).NOTEWire rope must be pulled through trumpet from outside ofvehicle.7. Remove wire rope (7) from winch drum (1).8.
