This task replaces one extension.1. Remove five screws (5), five self--locking nuts (6) and spade extension (7) from spade assembly (4). Discardself--locking nuts.NOTENote the quantity and position of shim(s) being removedto ensure shim(s) are installed in the same position.2. Remove two screws (8), two lockwashers (9), strike plate (10) and shim(s) (11) from spade assembly (4). Discardlockwashers.3. Inspect parts for damage and replace as required.Assembly1. Install strike plate (10) and shim(s) (11) with two screws (8) and two new lockwashers (9).2.
