4. Slide slip yoke (8) away from PTO clutch assembly (3).
5. Loosen clamp (9) at adapter (10), slide boot (2) away from adapter (10). Remove two clamps (1), clamp (9) and
boot (2) from PTO shaft assembly (11).
6. Carefully pass PTO shaft assembly (11) through bulkhead access opening (12) and remove from vehicle.
NOTE
Perform step 7 to remove adapter and gasket if either is
worn or damaged.
7. Remove eight screws (13), eight lockwashers (14), adapter (10) and gasket (15). Discard lockwashers and gas-
ket.
8. Inspect parts for damage and replace as required.
