Squirt hydraulic fluid (item 51, WP 0716 00) into the input and output ports of hydraulic pump (17) to prelubricate.2. Apply adhesive (item 29, WP 0716 00) to threads of all screws prior to installation.3. Install hydraulic pump (17) to adapter plate (22) with two screws (24) and two new lockwashers (25).4. Align splined shaft of hydraulic pump (17) with drive gear in chaincase (23). Do not force hydraulic pump splinedshaft into drive gear.5. Install adapter plate (22) and attached hydraulic pump (17) in chaincase (23) with four screws (21). Ensurematchmarks are aligned between adapter plate and chaincase.212317222524
