Remove oil filter (1) from oil filter adapter (2). Dispose of used oil filter.2. Clean base of oil filter adapter with a clean wiping rag.3. Inspect parts for damage and replace as required.Installation1. Coat gasket of new filter (1) with lubricant.2. Install filter (1) on oil filter adapter (2) until gasket contacts base of adapter (2).NOTEDo not over tighten oil filter.3. Tighten oil filter (1) one--half turn.
