SECTION V: TROUBLESHOOTING TM 9-2350-256-20WARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metalsurface a direct short may result in instantheating of tools, damage to equipment, andinjury or death to personnel.A Disconnect wire 518 from winch light. Place red leadof multimeter on wire 518 and black lead to ground.Turn MASTER and WINCH LT switches ON andcheck for voltage. Turn MASTER and WINCH LTswitches OFF. If voltage is present, replace lamp(see paragraph 6-35). If voltage is not present, go tostep B.B Reconnect wire 518 to winch light. Disconnectelectrical accessories panel wiring harness fromelectrical accessories panel. Place a jumper wirefrom socket A to pin A of wire 38/59. Place red leadof multimeter on pin G of wire 518 and black lead toground. Turn MASTER and WINCH LT switches ON,and check for voltage. Turn MASTER and WINCH LTswitches OFF. If voltage is present, repair/replacewire 518 of electrical accessories panel wiring harness(see paragraph 6-47). If voltage is not present, go tostep C.CPlace red lead of multimeter in socket A of wire 38/59and black lead to ground. Turn MASTER switch onand check for voltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. Ifvoltage is present, go to step D. If voltage is notpresent, go to step H.2-263
