WARNING
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,
bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metal
surface a direct short may result in instant
heating of tools, damage to equipment, and
injury or death to personnel.

Reconnect wire 38/518 to 15 A circuit breaker.
Disconnect wire 518 from circuit breaker side of winch
light switch. Place red lead of multimeter in wire 518
and black lead to ground. Turn MASTER switch on
and check for voltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. If
voltage is present, go to step G. If voltage is not
present, repair/replace wire 38/518 of bilge pump
main power wiring harness from 15 A circuit breaker
to winch light switch (see paragraph 6-84).

Reconnect wire 518 to circuit breaker side of winch
light switch. Disconnect wire 518 from panel
connector side of winch light switch. Place red lead of
multimeter on terminal of winch light switch and black
lead to ground. Turn MASTER and WINCH LT
switches ON and check for voltage. Turn MASTER
and WINCH LT switches OFF. If voltage is present,
repair/replace wire 518 of bilge pump main power
wiring harness from winch light switch to panel
connector (see paragraph 6-84). If voltage is not
present, replace winch light switch (see paragraph 6-
9).
