Main winch wire rope assembly removed
(WP 0499 00)
Level winder guard removed (WP 0507 00)
Adjustment
1. Remove two thumbscrews (1) from nutguard (2) cover and raise cover.
NOTE
If main winch was replaced, diamond screw shoulder
screw may not have been installed.
2. Remove diamond screw shoulder screw (3) from bracket (4).
3. Measure distance between end of diamond screw shaft (5) and pillow block collar (6) on brake side of winch (7).
Measurement should be 0.38 inches (9.65 mm), if not proceed to step 4.
4. Loosen two pillow block setscrews (8).
5. Center diamond screw (9) between drum flanges (10) by adjusting the diamond screw (9) to 0.38 inch (9.65 mm)
measurement at brake end pillow block.
