FLOW REGULATING VALVE AND FITTINGS REPLACEMENT -- CONTINUED

Installation
1. Install flow regulating valve (5) on compartment wall with new gasket (8), four screws (6) and four new lockwash-
ers (7).
2. Apply sealing compound to all male pipe threads.
3. Install pipe tee (2) and pipe locknut (4) in flow regulating valve (5). Tighten pipe locknut (4).
4. Install pipe elbow (3) in pipe tee (2).
5. Install adapter union (1) in pipe tee (2).

Install hydraulic hoses on flow regulating valve fittings
(WP 0571 00)
Close right side engine deck grilles
(TM 9--2350--292--10)
Close defuel access door
