TM 9--2350--292--20--2 SPADE RELEASE VALVE AND BRACKET REPLACEMENT 0558 00 THIS WORK PACKAGE COVERS: Removal, Installation INITIAL SETUP: Tools and Special Tools General mechanic’s tool kit (item 1, WP 0717 00) Materials/Parts Lockwashers (2) (item 10, WP 0718 00) Equipment Conditions Vehicle MASTER power switch OFF (TM 9--2350--292--10) Hydraulic lines and fittings removed from spade release valve (WP 0575 00) Spade release data plate removed (WP 0540 00) For bracket replacement only Removal 1. Remove nut (1) and spade release valve (2) from bracket (3). 2. Remove two screws (4), two lockwashers (5) and bracket (3) from hull. Discard lockwashers. 3. Inspect parts for damage and replace as required. Installation 1. Install bracket (3) on hull with two screws (4) and two new lockwashers (5). 2. Install spade release valve (2) in bracket (3) with nut (1). Figure 304 1 3 4 5 2 NOTE FOLLOW--ON MAINTENANCE: Install spade release data plate, if removed (WP 0540 00) Install hydraulic lines and fittings on spade release valve (WP 0575 00) END OF TASK 0558 00--1/2 blank
