GeneralThis section provides instructions for the M88A2 Heavy Recovery Vehicle and its component parts to determinewhether all assemblies, subassemblies and accessories are properly assembled, secured, correctly adjusted and lu-bricated.NOTEDo not reinstall engine deck grilles and doors removedduring the pre--installation procedures. Access to engineand transmission compartments is necessary during sub-sequent kit installation.CAUTIONWhen engine deck is removed, the engine cooling fansmust be suitably protected to avoid the entrance of for-eign material into the fans, clutches, associated parts, orany openings.2.
