CAUTION
Personnel heater and APU are not operational during
fording. Air inlets and exhaust are plugged and must be
unplugged following fording to avoid damage to the
equipment.
AUXILIARY POWER UNIT (APU)
1. Remove APU muffler and exhaust system. Perform Removal steps 1, 2, 4 through 6 and 8 in WP 0618 00.
2. Remove APU cover assembly (WP 0413 00).
3. Open electrical box cover (1) on APU (2).
4. Apply adhesive sealant (MIL--A--46146 11EWN) around edge of cover (1) opening.
5. Close and secure electrical box cover (1).
6. Apply adhesive (MIL--A--46146 11EWN) to any exposed terminals.
7. Install two screws (3) in holes in bottom of muffler (4). Apply adhesive sealant (MIL--A--46106 11EBN) to heads of
two screws (3).
