Installation--Continued
FUEL TANK AND ACETYLENE BOTTLE VENT HOSES
1. Open fuel tank fill cover (1). Apply adhesive (MMM--A--1617) with brush (A--A--289) to bottom of seal (2) and
bond to top of fuel tank fill cap (3).
2. Remove plug (4) from top of fuel tank fill cover (1) and install elbow (5). Stow plug (4).
3. Install one hose clamp (8) on each end of vent hose (9). Connect vent hose (9) to elbows (5 and 6) and tighten
two hose clamps (8).
4. Apply a continuous 1/4 in. thick bead of adhesive sealant (MIL--46106 11EBN) to top surface of seal (2). Install
cover (1) over seal (2).
